River Studios Open Day and Sale.

Not everybody knows about our studios. Nestled in the heart of the industrial boondocks of West Melbourne is a hub of creative activity. The City of Melbourne took a fabulous, but very neglected and run down old heritage warehouse, gave it a make-over and divided into artist studios. Da-da!

And I can tell you, that we the tenants are very happy that they did. It is a fabulous space and a wonderful thing to be part of.

So to share some of our joy with you, we have decided to have an Open Studio. And as many of us produce commercial products, we decided to have a sale.

Do pop along to see us. Have a chat, look around, soak up the atmosphere and maybe even pick up some amazing art!

Details are as follows. 11am - 4pm on Saturday 5 May 2012.
41 - 59 Sims St. West Melbourne (Mwy 2T A10)

Please park opposite the ivory building with the cactus garden, against the mesh covered wire fence. (Don't park on the building side, or you will get us into trouble).

Today I'm a Screen Printer.

Such is the life of the compulsive arty-farty. Always something new.
So here is what I've been working on. Soon I will be launching a new range of homewares. A mate of mine, Dave from Squid Ink Designs maker of the fabulous Mr. Bucket range has let me use his studio for some printing.
So Easter week has been spent churning out prints. Nothing could please me more. Happy as a pig in the proverbial!
